Teesside Mind’s Dementia Advisory Outreach Service (DAOS) provides compassionate, practical, and person‑centred support for individuals living with dementia and their families. We are looking for a Dementia Project Officer who is passionate about improving lives, empowering people, and championing dementia awareness within local communities.

Overview
As a Dementia Project Officer, you will:
- Be a main point of contact for individuals living with dementia, their families, and carers.
- Offer person-centred advice, emotional support, and practical guidance.
- Co‑create support plans based on strengths, needs, and personal goals.
- Help people access local services, groups, peer support, housing/benefits advice (non-clinical), and legal signposting.
- Deliver and promote the START programme(group work), with support from the existing DAOS team.

Working Hours

Salary Range
26,000, Pro rata for hours less than 36.5
