We are looking for a passionate and motivated Day Programme Facilitator (Part Time, 28 hours) to join our community drug and alcohol service across East Kent.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults affected by substance dependency to make positive, lasting changes through a structured community day rehabilitation programme.

Working within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, you will deliver the Forward Trust’s Substance Dependency Treatment Programme based on the 12 Step approach, helping service users build the skills, resilience and confidence needed for long-term recovery.

This is a varied and hands-on role combining group facilitation, one-to-one support, assessments and case management, with delivery taking place both face-to-face and online to ensure accessibility across the region.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Day Programme Facilitator, you will:

  • Manage a caseload of service users engaging with the day programme
  • Deliver structured group sessions and 1:1 recovery interventions
  • Complete assessments, psychometrics and support admissions to the programme
  • Support individuals to develop clear and achievable recovery pathways
  • Work closely with Recovery Workers and partner agencies across East Kent
  • Promote the day programme and support referrals into the service
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records
  • Contribute to a positive and strong recovery culture

About you:

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, organised and committed to supporting people to achieve transformational change. You will be confident facilitating groups, building relationships and working as part of a team.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience working in substance misuse, recovery, health, social care or a related field
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex or multiple needs
  • Strong communication and engagement skills
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • A flexible and proactive approach
  • A commitment to safeguarding, quality and continuous professional development
