Dance Group Peer Lead Volunteer

The Organisation

Our Place is Action on Disability’s community hub led by and for Disabled people. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and creative-minded person to join the Our Place team as a Dance Group Peer Lead Volunteer.

The ideal volunteer enjoys working with people, is a good listener, and feels confident supporting a group in a warm, welcoming, and inclusive way.

As Our Place is led by and for Disabled people, we particularly welcome applications from Disabled volunteers and those with lived experience of disability. You do not need to be a professional dance instructor, but a passion for dance, movement, music, and community participation, along with a positive and encouraging attitude, is essential. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to creating a safe and accessible space for everyone are key qualities we value.
