The successful candidate will support Account Executives by assisting with policy renewals, preparing insurance documentation, processing certificates of coverage and providing general administrative support.

This is an office-based position located at the Trans-European Division offices, 119 St Peter’s Street, St Albans.

Key Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative will:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients by telephone, email and in person.

  • Prepare certificates of coverage accurately and within the required timescales.

  • Work with Account Executives, Underwriters, Producers and other team members to respond to client requests.

  • Maintain organised files and records for the Account Executive team.

  • Assist with insurance applications, policy renewals and policy changes.

  • Review policies and applications for accuracy and request corrections where necessary.

  • Prepare and maintain schedules of insurance.

  • Support billing processes, including sending invoices and statements, collecting payments and responding to billing enquiries.

  • Process insurance applications using ARMprotect and Travelhub.

  • Provide general administrative support and carry out other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should ideally have:

  • A Levels.

  • A bachelor’s degree in a business-related subject.

  • At least two years of successful secretarial or general office experience.

  • Previous experience within the general insurance sector.

The successful candidate will also be expected to complete the Certificate in Insurance — Cert CII within two years of beginning the role.

Fluency in Korean, Japanese, Tagalog or Bahasa Indonesia would be beneficial, although this is not essential.
