Willen Lake is managed by The Parks Trust, an independent charity, that cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space in Milton Keynes. Our aim is to provide beautiful, diverse and sustainable parks, lakes, woods and landscapes that will be loved by the people of Milton Keynes, forever.

We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team and help create memorable experiences for our young visitors and their accompanying adults.
As the first point of contact for visitors, you will deliver a warm, professional, and enthusiastic welcome to everyone who walks through our doors. You’ll play a key role in the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the reception area, managing enquiries, supporting ticket sales, and providing clear, helpful advice and information to our visitors. With a strong customer‑focused approach, you’ll handle questions and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring any concerns are addressed or escalated when needed to maintain an excellent visitor experience.
Location: Willen Lake, Milton Keynes.
Salary: £12.21 - £12.71 per hour
Contract Type: Casual Agreement
Working hours: Zero Hours
Flexibility: We understand the need to balance life and commitments in and out of work and will support flexibility wherever it is practical to do so.

- Provide excellent front of house service, including face-to-face visitor interactions, email and telephone support
- Answer queries regarding Willen Lake activities, events and facilities confidently and efficiently
- Process ticket sales transactions and card handling
Experience, Skills and Personal Attributes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office packages
- The ability to follow procedures and processes consistently
- The ability to organise and prioritise work in line with business needs
- The ability to work effectively across multiple departments
