Up to £ 48,000 per annum depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Cross-sectional Radiographer at our hospital, you’ll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, have a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge within CT and/or MRI. Ideally, you’ll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately.

 As a Cross-sectional  Radiographer, you will:  

• See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy

• Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload – in the department, on the ward and in theatre

• Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities

• Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures

• Supervise and develop junior colleagues

• Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital is a stunning 46 bedded private hospital in West Hampshire with specialisms in Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Women’s Health and Spinal surgery. The hospital also benefits from having onsite Radiology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy so we can give our patients a complete package of care. There are 16 consulting rooms with speciality outpatient rooms, 46 private patient bedrooms with en-suite facilities, 24 hr resident doctor on site (RMO) and four operating theatres and one endoscopy suite.
