About the Service
What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate and person-centred support to people experiencing mental health challenges and crisis.
- Support individuals to maintain their independence and work towards their personal recovery goals.
- Provide practical and emotional support throughout the night, responding appropriately when individuals need additional support.
- Help maintain a safe, calm and supportive environment within Sycamore House.
- Monitor wellbeing and respond appropriately to changes in risk or individual needs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case notes, records and handovers.
- Follow safeguarding, risk management and service procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to ensure individuals receive consistent and effective support.

- The ability to respond calmly and appropriately to sensitive or challenging situations.
- The confidence to work independently while being part of a wider team.
- Good organisation and record-keeping skills.
- Flexibility and a commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred support.
