About the role
The Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) is a central government 3 year initiative beginning in 2026. It provides funding to local authorities which can in turn contract with local organisations to deliver the service. Devon County Council has contracted with Citizens Advice Devon, a consortium of the local Citizens Advice offices in Devon, to provide coordinated, high-quality crisis support, accredited advice and longer-term support across Devon. This includes debt advice accredited by the regulated body.
- Income maximisation and benefits support
- Behavioural and longer-term support to prevent repeat crises
- Strong referral pathways into local voluntary, housing and community support services
We are looking for a Debt Caseworker to train in and deliver a good quality debt advice service to clients, with due regard to the aims, policies and procedures of the organisation and service, working within a client focussed and responsive team.
