About Us:
Victory Services Club (VSC) is a successful charity which provides membership services to serving & retired members of the UK Armed Forces, NATO, Commonwealth, and their families. The Club, which is close to Marble Arch, has 200 bedrooms, extensive dining facilities, and seven Event Rooms which are available for Club members. Our Event Rooms are hired to generate revenue for the charity. The Club operates a number of schemes to provide free breaks for serving members of the Armed Forces.
The Role:
As a Cover/Project Maintenance Technician, you will provide general electrical/Plumbing/ HVAC/ building maintenance support to our property as part of a multi-disciplined team. This is a varied role, and you will be required to liaise with all departments, as well as on-site contractors to ensure the smooth delivery of tasks and projects to tight time scales. You will aid in the electrical/ plumbing/ HVAC maintenance- ensuring that all plant and systems are maintained. You will carry out refurbishment works as required. You will perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance and statutory compliance tasks/repairs on air conditioning, mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to cover shifts at short notice and eager to learn and be developed into a Multi skilled technician. They must also understand building maintenance. HVAC would be an advantage. Experience in a similar role is necessary. You must be fluent in English and a good communicator. The legal right to work in the UK is essential.
