About the role:
• To support the delivery and expansion of Sue Ryder’s national corporate partnerships programme, contributing to income growth, provide excellent partner stewardship, and the development of a more diverse and engaging corporate offer.
• To manage a portfolio of smaller corporate partners (each generating less than £30K annually), ensuring delivery against agreed objectives and income commitments while providing exceptional account management.
• To provide proactive support for new business development, including researching, qualifying, due diligence and tracking prospective corporate funders to grow the pipeline of future income.
• To assist in developing compelling partnership propositions, presentations, and engagement resources that align with Sue Ryder’s strategic aims, brand guidelines and that will appeal to corporate audiences.
• To coordinate and deliver engagement activities for corporate partners, including volunteering opportunities, events, campaigns, and communications that deepen their connection to the cause.
• Manage day to day relationships with any third party suppliers or platforms used by corporate partners, supporting smooth onboarding to new systems and ensuring a positive partner experience.
About you:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Numerate able to understand budgets and track income and expenditure of activities.
• Ability to build positive relationships internally and externally.
Essential Criteria
• Understanding of corporate fundraising principles and corporate social responsibility.
• Experience in administration and project coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Raiser’s Edge).
