Are you looking for a career in catering? We are looking for an creative and confident Cook who can inspire those within their team.

The Catering Team are involved in every area of the charity. Not only providing the very best meals to our patients and their families, but also the staff and volunteers who give the care and support. It doesn’t end there, our fundraising team put on events that need a broad spectrum of catering.

We are looking for 2 passionate cooks (30 hour and a 22.5 hour contract) to prepare and serve nutritious meals for patients, staff, and visitors at St Michael’s Hospice. You’ll follow set menus, cater to special dietary needs, and ensure high standards of food hygiene and safety. The role involves maintaining a clean kitchen, minimizing waste, and occasionally supervising kitchen staff.

The working hours will cover 7 days a week on a rota shift. The enhancements for weekend working is + 33.33% on Saturdays and + 66.66% on Sundays and bank holidays. You will be based at our Bartestree site and on early or late shifts. (07:00-15:00 or 11:15-19:15)
