Summary

The Content & Social Coordinator is a creative role for someone tuned into the second-hand fashion industry, with an instinct for storytelling. As the driving force behind our day-to-day content, you’ll have your finger on the pulse, understanding current trends and translating that awareness into standout content across social, email and web.

You will create, shape and deliver content that grows our community, drives footfall to our shops, encourages clothing donations, and raises awareness of Traid’s global projects to change fashion for good.

Key Responsibilities

Core:

  • Manage and grow Traid’s social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn), including content creation, scheduling, and community management, in line with the marketing strategy
  • Write and design email communications, including newsletters, retail marketing and events promotion
  • Keep Traid’s website content up to date, including copy, images and video
  • Manage Traid’s photography and video asset library
  • Report on content performance

Supporting:

  • Support delivery of donation and retail campaigns
  • Coordinate delivery and printing of marketing materials
  • Help organise and deliver in-store events and workshop programmes
  • Support brand partnership activations and communications
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers
  • Brief external agencies and freelancers on specific creative assets

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Someone who can hit the ground running with 1-2 years’ experience in a social media role for a consumer-facing brand, charity, or organisation
  • Strong content creation skills. Confident shooting and editing photo/video on a phone, comfortable with tools like CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Suite
  • Confident using Mailchimp and WordPress (or equivalent platforms)
  • Highly organised, able to manage a content calendar and multiple priorities at once
  • Able to work a hybrid pattern, including at head office in Wembley (HA0), with regular travel to Traid stores across London and remote working

Desirable

  • Experience working in retail, charity, or fashion sectors
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, TikTok analytics, or scheduling tools (e.g. Later)
  • Basic paid social experience
  • Experience working with influencers or brand partners
  • Photography/videography/social content portfolio you can share
