Content Creator (1710)

Calling all creatives! Are you passionate about creating engaging content? Do you have live production experience, and can you communicate and collaborate well as part of a creative studio?

We are looking for an experienced Content Creator to deliver engaging, high quality digital content that supports the RSC's strategic objectives. Working as part of a fast-paced creative design studio, you will collaborate with digital production and graphic design colleagues to produce high quality, on-brand creative output across RSC digital channels.

The Content Team is responsible for content creation across print, paid marketing, organic social, and broadcast activity. Working closely with teams within Brand and Audiences, across the organisation, and external stakeholders, the team plan, produce and deliver exceptionally high-quality, innovative and impactful content that amplifies the RSC's work, embodies and enhances its brand, and deepens audience engagement across all channels.

Reporting to the Studio Manager, key areas of responsibility include (please see the Role Profile for the comprehensive list):

  • Delivering video content for commissioners, including filming, editing, grading, and archiving.
  • Working on creative briefs and delivering content in the correct format for distribution
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and departments on video related projects.
  • Managing the procurement of media rights and clearance.
  • Ensuring quality control and high standards of work.
  • Project management and delivery.

To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have:

  • Practical experience and knowledge of editing software: Premiere Pro, Audition and Adobe Creative Cloud software.
  • Skills to use and operate of cameras, lighting and sound equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Motion Graphics, skills in After Effects and third-party plug ins.
  • Experience working in production and post-production environments and on live streams.
  • A collaborative and positive outlook, with the ability to support creative teamwork.
  • Confidence when working with stakeholders.

This is a full-time, permanent position based onsite in Stratford-upon-Avon. We are committed to a culture of flexible working, and this role will provide the opportunity for some flexibility in hours and location of work, ensuring that the specific remit of the role is delivered.

You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend and evening work will be required.
