Consultancy Title: Strengthen The HIV Response’s Resilience To Crises That Threaten Progress On Ending AIDS’

BACKGROUND

Frontline AIDS is embarking on a new strategic direction from 2026 to 2030. In response to an increasingly volatile and disrupted operating environment, the new strategy will hold as one of its three strategic priorities to ‘Strengthen the HIV response’s resilience to crises that threaten progress on ending AIDS’.

We are seeking an external consultant to support us in establishing this new priority with expert analysis, scoping, writing and convening of stakeholders to position us to make a significant and meaningful impact in this area.

Frontline AIDS is looking for a consultant:

With direct programmatic and policy experience in the humanitarian system and HIV/SRHR issues who can support us as we establish the new priority. A new team is being recruited but this role will provide initial leadership in this start-up phase with a strong emphasis on analysing what we have done and our relative strengths and opportunities within the wider ecosystem. The piece of work will also provide some interim technical leadership to the learning component of a significant programme being delivered in Ukraine ensuring the lessons from this work are learned in the wider Frontline AIDS partnership.

We are seeking proposals from individuals who have significant experience:

In the humanitarian and/or climate adaptation spaces and will be a thinker, doer and connector with a track record of instigating real change. The consultant will be comfortable developing strategy, making links between advocacy, programming, evidence and funding worlds.
