    As a Lecturer, you will:

    • Deliver engaging teaching across NC, HNC, and Graduate Apprenticeship degree programmes (SCQF 5–10)
    • Teach in classrooms, workshops, labs and through blended learning
    • Assist students in developing their knowledge, skills and confidence
    • Develop high-quality learning materials and assessments
    • Contribute to planning, curriculum development and continuous improvement
    About You

    We’re looking for someone who brings the following

    Essential Requirements
    • A minimum of an Honours degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline
    • Relevant, recent and demonstrable industry experience in civil engineering or construction management
    • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
    Desirable Qualities

    It would also be beneficial if you:

    • Are a member of a relevant professional body (e.g. Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers, the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, the Institute of Highway Engineers)
    • Are a strong communicator with effective interpersonal and teamwork skills
    • Have a positive, student focused approach and a passion for helping others develop‑focused approach and a passion for helping others develop
    • Are enthusiastic about ongoing professional growth and learning

    Teaching experience is welcome but not essential, we’ll support your journey into education with full training and development. If you’re excited about inspiring others and bringing your industry knowledge into a new environment, we’d love to hear from you.
