We’re looking for enthusiastic conservation volunteers to join us once a month and support hands-on habitat management and wildlife projects across Norfolk. This role is perfect for people who love being outdoors and want to make a real difference to local biodiversity, without the weekly time commitment.
Whether you’re studying conservation, wanting to develop new skills, or simply keen to give back to the environment, you’ll be part of a friendly team working to protect and enhance Norfolk’s unique landscapes.
What You’ll Be Doing
Our monthly volunteer days vary depending on the season, but tasks may include:
Habitat Management

Removing invasive species
-
Cutting back overgrowth and maintaining sightlines

Supporting wetland, woodland or grassland restoration
-
Creating and maintaining wildlife corridors
Practical Land Work
-
Clearing and preparing areas for new habitats

Litter picking and site tidying
-
Basic maintenance work such as fence repairs or path clearing.
Wildlife Support & Monitoring

Helping set up or maintain nest boxes, camera traps or feeding sites

Recording observations and helping with basic wildlife monitoring.
