During phase 1, you will work with farmers, landowners, partners and local communities to develop ambitious riparian and habitat improvement projects and write a capital bid that, over a further five years, will deliver a phased programme of small and large-scale projects to deliver real impact to rivers, wildlife and people across the Caldew catchment.

- Are confident managing budgets, reporting to funders and developing fundable project proposals.
- Are an effective people manager and a persuasive communicator who can build trust with farmers, landowners and partners.
This is an opportunity to play a leading role in shaping the future of riparian conservation in the Upper Caldew. You will join a committed team working to create healthier rivers, thriving wildlife and to inspire and empower communities across Cumbria. We offer 33 days’ paid leave, including bank holidays, a contributory pension, life assurance, mileage expenses and the tools you need to do the job.
