What we're looking for
Do you want to help create a safer, more respectful student community while developing your confidence, facilitation and leadership skills?
Following the success of our first year, Leeds University Union is recruiting a new team of Student Consent Ambassadors to lead the next phase of our award-winning SASHA (Stand Against Sexual Harassment and Assault) Accreditation programme. Last year, our student groups were recognised nationally for their commitment to creating safer and more inclusive communities through the accreditation scheme, and you'll play a key role in building on that success.
As a Student Consent Ambassador, you'll receive training before delivering engaging workshops to club and society leaders, supporting student groups through the SASHA accreditation process, assessing applications, and helping celebrate the achievements of groups making a positive difference across campus. Working alongside Leeds University Union staff and fellow ambassadors, you'll become an advocate for healthy relationships, positive consent and inclusive student communities.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in training delivery, communication, facilitation, project work and leadership, while making a genuine impact on the student experience.
