The Salvation Army in Dundee provides support for people who are experiencing homelessness and have multiple and complex needs.

Our role is to provide a safe psychologically informed environment to stay and support individuals through a Harm Reduction approach, based on trauma informed practice.

Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:

You will be required to carry out Front of House reception duties. You will also carry out health and safety and well being checks making sure that clients, staff and visitors are safe within the building. The role will also require you to complete admin tasks and daily handovers and ensuring that the communal areas are kept clean, tidy and safe.

Successful candidate will have: 

  • Good customer services skills
  • The ability to prioritise their own workload
  • Proficiency in a range of IT packages including Microsoft
  • A friendly and approachable manner
  • Knowledge of the main support needs which are commonly faced by homeless and vulnerable clients
