Concerts and Events Coordinator
Full-time, term time plus 2 weeks

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised and proactive Concerts and Events Coordinator to support the busy and ambitious Music & Expressive Arts Department at Wells Cathedral School.
This varied and rewarding role sits at the heart of one of the country’s leading specialist music schools. Working closely with the Director of Music & Expressive Arts, Heads of Department and wider school teams, the successful candidate will coordinate a wide range of concerts, performances, competitions, masterclasses and events throughout the academic year. Responsibilities include scheduling events, managing concert information systems, coordinating logistics, liaising with staff and external partners, and helping to ensure the smooth delivery of an extensive programme of activity.
The role also includes responsibility for concert programmes, audience communications, box office information and the promotion of departmental events and initiatives. The successful candidate will help showcase the achievements of our pupils and support the continued growth and visibility of Music & Expressive Arts both within the school and beyond.
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and outstanding administrative ability. The successful candidate will enjoy working collaboratively, thrive in a fast-paced environment and be willing to support concerts and events outside normal working hours on occasion.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in delivering an outstanding programme of artistic opportunities and performances for young people.
