About the Role

Are you friendly, reliable, and enjoy connecting with local businesses? We are looking for Community Volunteers to help grow and manage our network of collection tins in the local community.

This role would suit someone who enjoys getting out and about, building relationships, and making difference. Collection tins play an important part in raising vital funds that help us grant magical wishes for children living with life-threatening illnesses.

As a Community Volunteer (Collection Tins), you will support us by assisting with:

Building positive relationships with local businesses

• Placing collection tins in local shops, cafés, salons, and community venues

• Arranging with businesses convenient times to collect and replace full tins

• Recording and reporting all communications with businesses and funds collected

• Identifying new opportunities to expand our collection tin network

Ensuring tins are secure, well-presented, and branded correctly

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

• Friendly, approachable, and confident speaking to local businesses

Reliable and trustworthy

Comfortable working independently

Organised with basic record-keeping skills (you will receive full training on how to use our database for recording tin placements and communications with businesses)

• Passionate about supporting the work of the charity

• Able to represent the charity in a positive and professional way at all times

Why Volunteer With Us?

You will have the full support of our small and friendly team, with additional training and opportunities to develop your skills and experience.

By volunteering your time, you will help ensure more wishes can come true for seriously ill children across the UK. Your support behind the scenes helps create unforgettable memories for families when they need them most.
