Job Title: Community Hub Site Assistant, Sandwich St Peter (Maternity Cover)

Duration: 6 Months FTC Maternity Cover 

Hours: 30 hours per week across 5 days

Salary: £22,857 per annum, plus pension and benefits

Location: St. Peter’s Church, Sandwich

Overall job purpose

As part of the South East regional team, the Community Hub Assistant supports the operation and success of one of our major churches.

Reporting to the Head of Region, South East, and working closely with the Community Hub Coordinator, you will be support the church’s business model as a second hand goods retailer, as well as supporting year-round general visitation to the church, including visits to the Tower.

This post will also support volunteers to ensure the shop and visitor welcome desk is manned and that we are able to deliver an exemplary visitor welcome to our customers.

We have attached the pack, outlining each value, which we will also be using as part of our shortlisting and interview process to find the right candidates that align with our values.

The interviews will take place in St. Peter’s Church, Sandwich on Monday 13th April 2026. Please note that the interview date and location have been specifically chosen according to the availability of the panel.
