About the Role
As a Community Engagement Implementation Manager, you will:

Lead the planning and delivery of community engagement and listening activities that support the Perinatal equity and Equality Anti-Discrimination Programme (PEADP).

Build trusted relationships with maternity and neonatal service users, communities, voluntary and community sector organisations, NHS partners and other stakeholders to ensure lived experience informs programme delivery.

Co-design and deliver engagement activities that amplify the voices of women, babies and families from communities experiencing health inequalities and racial disparities.

Manage community engagement projects coordinating resources, monitoring delivery, managing risks and ensuring programme milestones are achieved.

Analyse and communicate community insights, producing reports and recommendations that inform implementation, influence decision-making and support the delivery of PEADP.

Work collaboratively with the delivery partners Advancing Quality Alliance (Aqua), Inspiring Hope, and White Ribbon Alliance UK to support the implementation of the PEADP and improve equity in maternity care.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you:

Have experience delivering community engagement or listening activities using anti-racist or trauma informed approaches within a healthcare or public sector setting, with demonstrable evidence of impact

Can build and maintain trusted relationships with communities and partners across health, voluntary and community sectors.

Have excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to agreed timescales.

Can analyse community insight and communicate findings clearly yo influence decision-making and service improvement.

Share our commitment to improving equity in healthcare and ensuring communities experiencing racism are at the heart of change.
