SALARY: £26,597 (Pro-rata)

REPORTING TO: Head of Programmes

CONTRACT: Full-time (37.5h) - Fixed-Term until March 2027

DEADLINE: Friday 15th May 2026

ABOUT THE ROLE

Elevate is a 4-week personal development programme (PDP) designed for 16-21-year-olds to move towards a positive future for those not currently in education, training, or employment, and those affected by crime, anti-social behaviour or in need of help to avoid situations which could hold them back. Once the personal development programme is complete, each participant receives 3 months of mentoring support, careers advice and employment support. Through Nottingham Forest Community Trust (NFCT) and its partners, participants will explore their strengths and aspirations, focus on wellbeing and developing healthy relationships, whilst building resilience and essential skills, including how to apply positive behaviours in real-life situations. The programme includes a variety of activities focusing on future work, education, and community-engagement opportunities.

To make this a reality, Nottingham Forest Community Trust are seeking a highly organised, sensitive, responsible, and committed practitioner who is passionate about supporting young people, especially those who have experienced significant challenges. The role-holder will enrol participants, as well as plan, deliver, and evaluate the Elevate personal development plan within NFCT, and coordinate the programme from end-to-end across its partners.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  2. Coordinate the referral processes for young people into and out of the mentoring programme, working with key partners and organisations

  4. Coordinate all planning, delivery, and evaluation of the Elevate programme within NFCT

  5. Collate all relevant evidence, insights, and data for internal reporting and for stakeholders including funding providers

  6. Assume line management responsibilities, including absence, performance, and learning & development, for the Elevate delivery team

  7. Manage the performance of the Elevate delivery team

  8. Work with colleagues and partners to ensure all programme KPIs are met

  9. Ensure commitment to continuous improvement across the programme and its delivery team

  10. Work constructively with NFCT’s internal teams to plan, grow, develop, and ensure the success of the programme

  11. Support other Trust programmes where appropriate

  12. Uphold all Trust policies, maintain professional boundaries, be committed to the highest safeguarding standards and report concerns in accordance with procedure

  13. Be a positive role model for NFCT at all times, and champion its programmes and impact
