Join us as the Community Engagement and Development Manager and lead the way in shaping how communities across the North East, Yorkshire and Humber understand, prevent, and respond to gambling harms.
Based in the North East with responsibility across the North East and Yorkshire and Humber regions. Travel across both regions will be required.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a team across the North East, Yorkshire and Humber to deliver impactful community gambling harm initiatives.
- Develop and embed effective referral pathways to support services.
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and community groups.
- Oversee training, awareness campaigns, and outreach activities.
- Monitor service quality and drive continuous improvement.
- Represent the organisation at regional and strategic forums.
What You’ll Bring
- Strategic vision combined with operational delivery skills.
- A passion for reducing gambling harm and promoting community wellbeing
- Qualification at Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., public health, community development, social care) plus substantial experience.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering services.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills, including with senior leaders and commissioners.
