Salary: £30,237 per year (£15.51 per hour)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term for 2.5 years (subject to funding)
Location: Oldham, working in the community and across the borough

Help people build brighter futures
Sanctuary Trust is looking for a caring and motivated Community Connector to support people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or struggling to keep their housing. You will help people find the right support, build confidence, and become more independent.
This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in your local community.
What you’ll do
- Build trust and positive relationships with people who need support.
- Help people access housing, health, wellbeing, employment and community services.
- Provide support to prevent homelessness and help people keep their tenancies.
- Encourage people to develop new skills, build confidence and connect with their community.
- Work with volunteers, peer mentors and partner organisations.
- Keep accurate records and support plans.
About you
You will have experience supporting vulnerable adults and a good understanding of homelessness and related challenges. You will be a great listener, able to build trust, and committed to helping people achieve positive change.
