Community Champion

The Community Champion will play a key role in supporting people aged 65+ across Blackpool and Wyre to access help with energy and money advice and social inclusion. The role focuses on community networking, engaging with local organisations, raising awareness of Lancashire Women’s services, and referring people for support, predominantly through home-based energy and money advice visits. The post-holder will be based at our Blackpool Centre for two days per week, delivering community holistic groups within the centre and supporting centre-based activity, alongside spending considerable time out in the community building strong local connections.

Salary: SP24 £26,928.36

Hours: 37 hours per week

Duration: 12 month, subject to further funding
