Autism Unlimited is looking for a Communications & Fundraising Officer to help amplify our voice, grow our impact, and support autistic children and young people to thrive. This role would be working four days per week on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a values-driven charity where your ideas, creativity, and initiative will directly support life-changing services.

A day in the life of a Communications & Fundraising Officer would include:

  • Creating and distributing engaging internal and external communications
  • Designing and delivering social media and online content, including short videos, posters, and graphics
  • Drafting and uploading stories that promote our services, fundraising efforts, and organisational news
  • Acting as the first point of contact for school and sixth form communications
  • Managing the Autism Unlimited website ensuring content is fresh and up to date
  • Supporting the Head of Marketing and Fundraising with projects, campaigns, and day-to-day tasks

Our ideal applicant will have:

  • Degree level qualification in marketing - desirable
  • 2+ years background within a marketing role
  • Skills using various programmes including Office 365, Canva Premiere Pro, MailChimp, Adobe, Eventbrite and social media platforms
