Role: Communications and Marketing Officer
Salary: £25,311 per annum
Terms: Permanent / Full-time contact (36 hours per week)
Location: Office based role at the Land Trust’s head office in Birchwood, Warrington / Flexible working arrangements can be considered for the right candidate

Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for digital communications and the power of green spaces? The Land Trust is looking for a Communications and Marketing Officer to help share the impact of our work with communities, residents, partners and clients across the UK.
This new role will work with colleagues across the charity and will lead on social media and digital communications, create engaging written, photographic and video content, keep our website up to date, and support newsletters, campaigns, events and communications for our parks and green spaces. It will play a central role in helping us to maintain our commitment to open and transparent communication with residents living on service charge sites.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and full of ideas, with strong communication skills and confidence using multiple social media platforms. You do not necessarily need to have a qualification in communications and marketing, as we’re keen to also hear from those with demonstrable related experience. We are also committed to supporting the right candidate with training and support to grow their skills and experience whilst in post.
The post will be involved with and lead on a range of projects and tasks, so you will need a ‘can do’ attitude to managing a varied workload. Experience in the charity, customer service, community engagement or environmental sectors would also be an advantage.

Interviews:
First stage interviews are expected to be held online week commencing 14 September 2026. As appropriate, a follow-up second stage interview will take place in person at the Land Trust offices in Birchwood, Warrington week commencing the 21 September 2026.
