About the role
Working as part of the administrative team and reporting to the Admin Assistant this internship offers opportunity to acquire knowledge and gain further experience in Events, Communication and Administration skills within an INGO.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong content creation, event management, social media skills and administration to join the team as an intern to gain further experience within international development.
Responsibilities
Key accountabilities but not limited to:
- Draft and edit content for communication purposes
- Support event management and workshops internally and externally
- Support the team in the logistics for activity preparation and travel
- Attend team meetings and contribute as to how to enhance communication processes
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations
- Responsible for filing, data entry, petty cash handling
- Field phone calls, emails, greet visitors
- Support filing of all administrative records in the appropriate folders to facilitate easy reference and retrieval when necessary

Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within international development with good exposure to event management, logistics, communication and administration. They will be able to evidence what they have achieved in this area and hold a qualification in communication or business administration. Strong Microsoft Excel working knowledge is desirable with intermediate or fluent written and spoken English and French. Current and ongoing right to work in Cameroon is essential.

The recruitment process will consist of an online written task. Candidates successful at this stage will be invited to an on-site interview at the country office, this meeting will last up to 45 minutes. We intend to conduct interviews from 16 April 2026 onwards.
