About the role

This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of the RNLI's Commercial Partnership and Asset Disposal Strategy. Working inside a matrixed environment, you will support the commercial partnerships, asset disposal and regional Fundraising Partnership Leads to maximise commercial value to the RNLI and ensure alignment to RNLI 5-year plan.

The role’s primary focus is to assist the team to secure new partners, deliver contractual obligations to existing partners, and help ensure compliance throughout all aspects of the asset disposal function.

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the correct information and documentation across several Sharepoint sites, as well as liaising with multiple internal departments and directorates to gather and share relevant information.

The work is varied, and will require a flexible approach to address and prioritise tasks as they arise, and ensure support is delivered in a timely manner.

Experience required

  • A solid understanding of the RNLI is essential. Recognising the responsibilities of various teams across all directorates would be a huge advantage, as the commercial partnerships team function best through collaboration.
  • Knowledge and experience of Sharepoint, AX and other RNLI systems.
  • The role will suit a strong communicator who can interpret, process and share received information quickly and effectively.
  • Confident/proficient in stakeholder management
  • Ability to work independently on specific projects, whilst also being able to collaborate closely with team members as required.
  • Strong numerical and commercial acumen would be advantageous.

Frequent travel to Support Centre in Poole and to Partners will be required.
