Job Title: Collyweston Slate Roofer
Type of Contract: Full-time
Salary: £32,000-£34,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Summary
We are recruiting for an experienced Collyweston Slate Roofer to work in the Estate Maintenance team at Burghley, working across our full property portfolio of residential and commercial buildings.
The role includes undertaking reactive and planned roofing work. As part of this role, you will be working alongside colleagues within the Estate Maintenance team, the role is fulltime and is permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspections of roofs to identify damage or potential issues
- Perform repairs to pitched roofing systems to ensure that all roofing systems remain safe, weatherproof, and well maintained.
- Replace damaged tiles, slates, and roofing membranes
- Maintain gutters, downpipes, flashings, and roofline components
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and emergency repairs
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company standards and health & safety regulations
- Work closely with the wider maintenance team to resolve building issues
- Any other general maintenance task or other reactionary work that arises and that you are equipped to fulfil
- Stock control, materials purchasing, collection and delivery of equipment and materials as necessary
Skills Required
- Driving licence
- Previous relevant work experience.
- Good awareness and undertsanding of personal health and safety, and risk assessments.
- Excellent attention to detail
Working Hours & Salary
- 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
- Salary: £32,000–£34,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
