Collingham Tennis Club is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and LTA‑qualified Head Coach to take over our established and thriving coaching programme from Summer 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right coach to build on strong foundations within a friendly, community‑focused club.
About the Role
– Self‑employed Head Coach position
– Inherits an existing programme of 50+ junior players on monthly direct‑debit coaching packages
– Current junior sessions run on Monday and Tuesday evenings
– Opportunities to expand coaching to more evenings and weekends
– Well‑established relationships with local schools and community groups
Essential Requirements
– LTA Level 3 (or above)
– LTA Accredited
– Enhanced DBS

Collingham Tennis Club Background and Ethos
Collingham Tennis Club is a friendly, busy village club who aim to bring enjoyment of tennis to all ages and abilities. Our players range in age from 4 to 80. We pride ourselves on being welcoming, inclusive, and closely connected to our local community. The Club runs a full junior coaching programme and has 14 adult teams in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire leagues.
Membership
– 164 members, including 56 juniors under 18s (31 boys and 25 girls).
– 51 juniors in the coaching programme
– 2 Evening social sessions, Sunday morning social session, new Friday morning social session, pay as you go Gentle Tennis session open to non-members
– 14 adult teams
Facilities
– Four full‑size courts, two mini courts and a training wall
– Accessible clubhouse, LED floodlights, resurfaced car park
– All facilities owned and managed by a dedicated committee of members, and the coaching team are encouraged to be part of this committee.
Community & Events
The Club are keen to be at the heart of the local community and the Coaches are encouraged to support outreach with local schools and early years settings.
We host open days, fundraising events, and sessions with local groups such as Scouts and Young Farmers, business and other community groups.
Junior Pathway
We offer a strong progression route, helping young players move smoothly into adult social and competitive tennis, with several now playing in our teams.
