Job Description Clinical Services Administrator Job Title : Clinical Services Administrator Responsible to: Clinical Services Manager Accountable to: Hospice CEO Salary Range: £24,485 to £30,162 (pro -rated) dependant on experience Department Objectives Provid ing excellent administrative and tracking activities whilst resolving barriers to care , enabling patients to access the right help at the right time contribut ing to making the person’s journey as well possible. -managed and dignified as and Role within the Team To provide a high level of administrative support to the Single Point of Access and the Hospice’s wider clinical services. Desirable ✓ Experience of working with primary or secondary health/social care services ✓ Experience of signposting services for individuals ✓ Experience of working in a hospice environment ✓ Experience of pathway navigation in a health/social care system ✓ Customer Service qualification ✓ Knowledge of health and social care system and the application of wellbeing and prevention ✓ Knowledge of using clinical systems e.g. SystmOne ✓ Use of data bases to produce reports Qualifications/ Experience Essential ✓ Minimum SVQ/NVQ Level 3 ✓ Experience of working in a busy environment ✓ Experience of managing emotionally sensitive or distressing telephone calls where confidentiality and sensitivity are vital Skills and Knowledge ✓ Ability to facilitate and support people with complex needs ✓ Excellent oral and written communication Personal skills ✓ Maintain high standards of record keeping ✓ Good planning and organisation skills ✓ High level of IT skills including use of Microsoft software and to be able to process information electronically ✓ Knowledge of data protection, confidentiality and safeguarding procedures ✓ Work to agreed targets ✓ Ability to facilitate, engage, motivate and support clients and their carers ✓ Ability to support and empower clients to make their own decisions ✓ High level of attention to detail ✓ Ability to remain calm ✓ Flexible approach in coping with varying demands of the role ✓ Ability to work a team independently or as part of Other ✓ Full current driving licence with ability and willingness to use own vehicle ✓ Commitment to the work and values of Blythe House Hospice Care Navigator JD_P S 02/2026
