About The Role

We have 2 Permanent positions, one working 28 hours per week and one 21 hours per week.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Clinical Research Facility, the post holder will be working on a range of clinical research studies including pharmaceutical, and peer funded projects in a variety of disease areas. The role involves an in-depth knowledge of clinical trials and the ethical and regulatory procedures of ICH/GCP and the EU Clinical Trials Directive and previous experience of the conduct of clinical research studies.

The post holder will be responsible for a range of clinical research studies including pharmaceutical, and peer funded projects in a range of disease areas. This will include the identification of suitable patients, recruitment, and review of all patients whether in an outpatient or inpatient context and the delivery of certain specified clinical investigations. As an expert in this field the post holder will take full responsibility for all aspects of the study in liaison with the principal investigator (Consultant).

The post holder will supervise and work with other members of the research team as a mentor

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
