Cleaning Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a Cleaning Assistant to join our Cleaning team.

Reporting to the Cleaning Manager and Cleaning Supervisor the main purpose of the role is
to assist with the cleaning service of the school and associated areas.

Duties will also include:

•  Hoovering/mopping of floor areas
•  Cleaning of classrooms/tables/chairs
•  Cleaning of corridor/stair areas
•  Removal of refuse to correct bin areas
•  Cleaning/sanitise toilet & bathroom areas
•  Cleaning of sections according to area schedule
•  Complete deep clean of sections (Easter/Summer)

These are Term Time plus positions and will require flexibility regarding hours of working in
regard to:
5 Days
10 Days

Easter deep clean
Summer deep clean

Working Hours:
15 Hours per week
Monday – Friday, 16:00 to 19:00 (Term Time)

Point: Living Wage
Full-time equivalent salary: £24,570
Actual salary: £8,618
Hourly Rate: £12.60
