We are recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our team. The role involves cleaning two offices (all equipment chemicals and PPE provided), each with small kitchen and toilet. The postholder will work at a supported living project for people with a learning disabilities who require additional support with positive behaviour support and autism.
This is a part-time role of 8 hours per week (Tuesday – Friday 5 pm to 7 pm).
Key Responsibilities
- Sweeping, hoovering and moping the floors, depending on the surface.
- Cleaning the toilets & sinks
- Emptying the wastepaper and recycling bins
- Replenishing paper towels, toilet roles, soap dispensers, bin bags.
- Wiping the office desks.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in the cleaning industry (desiderable).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- To have an understanding of health and safety issues, i.e. COSHH, manual handling.
- Good English communication -both written and verbal.
- Flexible and able to adapt to the changing situation.
- Clear DBS required.
