Hyde Park Picture House Leeds is hiring two Cinema Duty Managers

The Cinema Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the cinema during opening hours for a wide array of audiences. This involves taking an active lead in creating an environment where customer service is at the best possible level and all audiences feel welcome.

The Cinema Duty Manager also supports the administration of the kiosk/box office and leads on the delivery of screening events whilst on shift. They will work cohesively with other teams across the venue and the wider organisation to help ensure all staff and volunteers feel trusted, empowered and engaged.

Positions available: Two 15 hours per week contracts – HPPH expect that the regular working pattern for each post will be to work alternating weeks of approx. 12 hours and 18 hours. Your pay and conditions will be based on an average working week of 15 hours, so it won’t vary week by week or month by month. This will be a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

Holiday Entitlement: Equivalent of four weeks + a bank holiday allowance (calculated pro rata), rising after 3 years’ service and again after 5 years’ service.
