Bible Society believes the Bible is God’s gift for God’s world. We share it because we believe it changes lives for good. We want Christians to be confident in the Bible’s truthfulness and reliability, and we want to change how people talk about it in wider society and invite them to see it as a source of wisdom and joy.
We are looking for someone who is able to develop warm and fruitful relationships with key church and network leaders in the Midlands and North. With a deep theological knowledge and a good understanding of how charities operate, you’ll know the landscape of church life and have an established network of contacts. You’ll be good at communicating both one-to-one and in front of an audience, and comfortable in a variety of church-related situations. We’re looking for someone who is able to provide leadership to volunteers and be a self-starter with a passion to encourage deeper Bible engagement in church congregations.
This role would suit someone who is able to work flexibly to attend some evening events and weekend church services, and who lives in or around the Midlands or North. Our work engages with a wide range of church traditions, as aligned with our generous orthodoxy, and the suitable candidate will be comfortable working with people and churches of differing traditions and backgrounds.
