About the role
Christian Aid Ireland’s Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Team works on an all-island basis, to build a movement of individuals, churches, coalitions and other organisations to work with us for the world we want to see.
This role is part of the Church and Community team (a sub-division of the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Team) and plays a vital role in stewarding, inspiring and engaging churches, Christian Aid groups and key individuals in order to increase engagement through giving, fundraising, acting and praying – and as a result growing support for Christian Aid’s work around the world. The majority of these supporters belong to Christian Aid’s 7 sponsoring church denominations.
This post will ensure that Christian Aid Ireland’s volunteers, organisers, fundraisers specifically across the Province of Leinster are inspired, empowered and equipped to take action on behalf of those we seek to serve around the world. The role will help to deliver this by building and strengthening relationships with a large portfolio of key church fundraising volunteers and stewarding them through their supporter journey with Christian Aid. This stewardship will result in meeting targets for income, speaking engagements and relationship building.
