Children’s Outreach Specialist Nurse

Helen & Douglas House is entering a dynamic phase of growth and development within our Outreach Nursing Service. As a result of colleagues progressing into exciting new opportunities, we are delighted to be recruiting two Band 7 Children’s Outreach Specialist Nurses.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly skilled, well-established Outreach Nursing Team delivering expert children’s palliative care across community settings within our six-county catchment area. You will work autonomously, providing specialist clinical support, symptom management, and leadership to children, families, and professionals throughout the palliative care pathway.

You will be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team of nurses, doctors, family support services and volunteers, within an organisation renowned for excellence in children’s hospice care.

We are looking for an experienced children’s nurse with strong community experience, specialist palliative or complex care expertise, and the confidence to make a real difference where it matters most.
