Children’s Health & Wellbeing Manager
Would you like to work for an organisation that believes that everyone, regardless of the challenges they face, should have the opportunity to thrive?
Join Involve Kent as Children’s Health and Wellbeing Manager and shape services that transform outcomes for children, young people, and families. Reporting to the Head of Children’s Services, you will be part of a mission‑driven Senior Management Team committed to reducing inequality and strengthening community‑based support across Kent.
You will oversee the Children’s Health and Wellbeing Navigation Service and the Personal Health Budgets function, ensuring support is seamless, personalised, and empowering. Your leadership will help build a service where families feel genuinely listened to and where staff are supported to deliver safe, high‑quality, and compassionate care.
Working collaboratively with other Children’s Services Managers, to foster innovation, continuous improvement, and strong safeguarding practice. This role sits at the heart of a progressive charity delivering unique, impactful services for families, including those with long‑term health conditions, mental health needs, and neurodiversity.
You will need to be able to drive and have access to a vehicle for this role, as it involves community and home visits. The role includes providing regulated activity with children, so employment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check. We consider all disclosures on an individual basis and are committed to fair and inclusive recruitment.
