Cranstoun is a charity empowering people to live healthy, safe and happy lives. Our skilled and compassionate teams work with individuals, families and communities, supporting them to make positive change. We deliver a wide range of services across England, including domestic abuse support, young people’s services, and community-based interventions.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join and help develop Cranstoun’s Domestic Abuse Service in Wakefield.
As part of an expanding service, you will deliver targeted interventions for children and young people aged 11–18 through our ‘Reset’ offer, which includes both the Level Up programme (focused on harmful behaviours) and the Empowerment programme (supporting those who have experienced trauma).
You will work on a one-to-one and groupwork basis with young people who may:
Display controlling, abusive or harmful behaviours towards parents/carers, siblings or partners
Have experienced domestic abuse or trauma and require tailored support
The role involves assessing referrals, managing a caseload, and delivering structured, trauma-informed interventions that promote safety, accountability and healthy relationships.
You will work closely with partner agencies including schools, social care, Early Help and Youth Justice services, and will contribute to training and awareness-raising across the partnership.
We are looking for motivated practitioners with experience of working with children and young people and/or domestic abuse, who are keen to develop their skills within a specialist and supportive team.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
