Childcare Practitioner
Golden Manor Nursery is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Childcare Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team. We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for working with young children and is committed to providing high-quality care and learning experiences. Whether you are an experienced practitioner or newly qualified, we would love to hear from individuals who are enthusiastic, reliable and eager to make a positive difference in children's lives.
The role includes:
- Providing a safe, caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Planning and supporting engaging play and learning experiences in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Supporting children's individual learning, development and wellbeing.
- Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging children's independence.
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene.
- Contributing to observations, assessments and children's learning journeys.
- Working as part of a professional and supportive team.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a minimum Level 2 qualification in Children's Care, Play, Learning and Development (Level 3 desirable).
- Is caring, patient and enthusiastic.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is reliable, flexible and willing to learn.
- Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child development.
- Can create fun, stimulating learning opportunities for children.

Hours are variable part time hours and full time hours available
