Help embed Circular Living in every boardroom and every home.

WRAP is a global environmental action NGO, working to transform the product and food systems that lie behind the climate crisis, the loss of nature and the mountains of waste polluting our land and water.

Established in the UK in 2000, we work in over 40 countries and have offices in the UK and Washington D.C. Food, textiles and manufactured products together account for close to half of global greenhouse gas emissions, and we offer a different way of doing things: design, make, reuse — an approach we call Circular Living. Rooted in technical expertise, an impartial evidence base and independent convening power, we bring together businesses, governments and NGOs to deliver the systemic change our planet and communities need.

We are now seeking a Chief Financial and Operations Officer to join our Executive Team and help shape WRAP's next phase of growth, influence and impact. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will lead finance, commercial, operations and governance — acting as Company Secretary to the Board — and serve as a strategic partner who strengthens resilience, enables innovation and ensures WRAP is ready for the future.

We are looking for an accountable, proactive leader who takes ownership, makes sound decisions and inspires confidence. You will be a qualified accountant with executive-level experience in a complex, global organisation, bringing financial stewardship and governance rigour alongside strong commercial instincts: the judgement to challenge conventional thinking, spot opportunities for sustainable income and growth, and negotiate effectively with governments, businesses, funders and international partners. You will balance strategic ambition with operational excellence in a fast-changing environment, and lead high-performing, multidisciplinary teams across cultures, geographies and stakeholder groups.

Above all, you will be focused on outcomes and impact, ensuring your functions are efficient, resilient and high performing so that WRAP can grow its influence and achieve lasting change.

This is an opportunity to pair executive leadership with purpose, at an organisation with a twenty-five year track record and global ambitions for the decade ahead.

About WRAP

WRAP is a climate action NGO working around the globe to tackle the causes of the climate crisis and give the planet a sustainable future. Our vision is a thriving world in which climate change is no longer a problem.

At WRAP we believe that our natural resources shouldn’t be wasted. And that everything we use should be re-used and recycled. Our mission is to make the world a more sustainable place. We bring people together, we act on the facts, and we drive change.

Our core purpose is to help tackle climate change and protect our planet by changing the way things are produced, consumed and disposed of.

If you join us at WRAP – and we think you should – you'll help us by tackling sustainable product design, reducing waste, encouraging re-use or advocating recycling across the food and drink, plastic packaging, clothing and textiles and the collections and recycling sectors.

You can help us all to do better.

Ready to lead the way to circular living?

If you think you have what it takes but your experience looks different to what is advertised, please still apply. We welcome applications from everyone regardless of your age, race, gender, neurodiversity, ability, beliefs, sexuality, or personal preferences.
