We are seeking a passionate and industry-experienced Chef to join our Hospitality team. This exciting opportunity can be offered as one full-time position or two part-time positions, providing flexibility to suit your career and lifestyle.

What You'll Bring

· Extensive professional cookery experience within commercial kitchens

· A passion for developing and mentoring future chefs

· Strong practical culinary skills and current industry knowledge

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· The ability to motivate, inspire and support learners to achieve their potential

· A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, health and safety, and professional practice

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver engaging practical and theory-based learning

· Support, guide and assess learners throughout their studies

· Develop learning materials and contribute to curriculum development

· Maintain strong links with industry partners and employers

· Support student recruitment, work placements and employability activities

· Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

Applicants should hold:

· A relevant Professional Cookery qualification at SCQF Level 7 or above (or equivalent)

· Industry-recognised culinary qualifications

· Assessor and Verifier qualifications are desirable

· A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)

  • Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using MS Office and any job-specific software/systems
  • Adaptability to evolving digital opportunities and willingness to continuously improve digital competencies.
