Service runs 7am – 6.30pm over seven days

 

                Salary:  Band 3: £28,011 - £30,230 per annum

          (+13% enhancement for working at weekend)

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity at Strathcarron Hospice for a Chef to join our friendly, hardworking Kitchen team.

The post is subject to a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme check.

All new employees will be subject to a probationary period of 6 months, during which performance and suitability for the role will be assessed.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who loves cooking and wants to use their skills to positively contribute to delivering a high standard hospitality service to our patients, visitors and staff. You will be an experienced chef, enthusiastic and motivated and play an important role in preparing a range of menus and meals and growing the chef skills across the team.

This role is full time working 5 days per week. The post holder will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. You will have an induction period to introduce you to the Hospice and the Kitchen.
