We’re looking for a Charity Hub Assistant to help keep our Charity Hub running smoothly and successfully, both in-store and online. From serving customers and handling stock to supporting events and managing online sales, you’ll play a key role in maximising our shop’s impact and raising vital funds for Sheffield Children’s. This is a zero hours fixed term – ending 31 December

Overall purpose of the role:
The purpose of the role is to assist in the day to day running of the charity shop to maximise sales and profitability both on and offline.
Main Relationships and Roles:
- To assist and serve customers, providing a service of the highest standard. The Charity Hub is open Monday – Friday 10 – 4pm
- To assist in set up and running of stalls at specified events which may fall on evenings/weekends
- To assist with retail including stock purchasing, sorting, pricing and packaging.
- To assist selling products online.
- To assist in the donation of gift in kind.
- Till operation and cash handling.
Title of post: Charity Hub Assistant
Location: Fundraising Hub, Sheffield Children’s Hospital, S10 2TH or any office where the Charity operates
Salary:£24,570 per annum pro-rata (£12.60 per hour)
Hours: Zero Hours contract. – Particular seasonal cover required
Contract: Fixed Term ending 31 December 2026
