Young Scot Seek Next Chair
We are seeking an exceptional and dynamic leader, who is forward-looking and shares our commitment to improving outcomes for young people. As Chair, you will play a pivotal role in helping Young Scot deliver its mission and maximise its impact for young people aged 11–26. You will provide leadership to the Board, support and challenge the executive team and help ensure the organisation remains ambitious, innovative and financially sustainable.
The successful candidate will lead our Young Scot Board which has an extensive range of expertise, experience and energy that helps us deliver outcomes for young people. The Board currently consists of 12 Directors/Trustees and a Company Secretary. This includes our office bearers of a Chair and two Vice Chairs. Importantly, of the 12 Directors, four of them are young people. The Chair will be appointed for an initial term of three years, with the possibility of re-appointment in line with Young Scot’s governing documents.
