JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Responsibilities

Are you passionate about providing nutritious meals and creating a welcoming environment for
children? Howe Green House School is seeking a dedicated Catering / Midday Assistant to join our
school community.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to pupils.

•  Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.

•  Set up and clear away food service equipment.

•  Adhere to health and safety regulations.

•  Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure smooth and efficient service

•  Support and supervise children as and when needed.

Requirements:

•  Previous experience in catering or a similar role (desirable but not essential).

•  Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices (or willingness to undergo

training)

•  Ability to work well in a team.

•  Friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic.

•  Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (required for all staff working in schools).
